Sapi-an’s Tilibyugan Festival

THE biggest annual gathering
of Sapian folks, Tilibyugan
Festival, will mark another
milestone on July 21 to 26,
2022.
The weeklong celebration
features various activities that
lure tourists.
All activities are centered
on community participation.
July 21: Diana, opening
salvo with grand parade around
the town proper. Start of food
festival, and LGU employees’
Night.
July 22: Buntis month
celebration with lecture for
pregnant women by Dr. Alfonso
Orosco; Sadsad Tiligyugan in
the afternoon – a cultural parade
of the barangays, DepEd, and
local government unit, in
Disney and broadway theme;
Patubas 2022 in the afternoon
where achievers of Sapian will
be honored, then TDT dance
performance and food festival
where the seafood products of
Sapian will be displayed; whole
day is display of agri-aqua and
handicraft trade fair; in the
evening is DEPED night.
July 23: Continuation
of food festival, and the most

exciting event, Sikad Turismo,
1st Atty. Joe Villanueva
Mountain Bike Race; then
volleyball exhibition games for
men and women,
July 24: Food festival
continued, and barangay night
where Gov. Fredinel Castro is
guest speaker.
July 25: Kalan-onon
festival – display of native foods
in kiosks by the SK’s; SK and
LGBT Night.
July 26: mass in the

exciting event, Sikad Turismo,
1st Atty. Joe Villanueva
Mountain Bike Race; then
volleyball exhibition games for
men and women,
July 24: Food festival
continued, and barangay night
where Gov. Fredinel Castro is
guest speaker.
July 25: Kalan-onon
festival – display of native foods
in kiosks by the SK’s; SK and
LGBT Night.
July 26: mass in the
